As part of the administration side of the board not many.
Messages we want everyone to see we will post on this BBS system in one of the public system areas.

We will, of course, respond to emails we recieve directly and in (hopefully) rare cases send messages indicating conduct violations.

The exception where one could get a lot of emails:
is if you have set in your profile to "Always Notify" you of message replies Or if you have set to be notified with new Private Messages.
In those cases a very active discussion topic could send you a lot of messages.
