What I always find interesting is that something like this is ok and even defended by the powers that be. But put up a poster about a Christian event or even say something like “May God Bless You” and suddenly many, many people are offended and screaming that such references about God be silenced because of the statements being offensive.

If it is ok to have one the other should also be allowed and defended, if one is silenced as being offensive then both should be silenced.

University Art Exhibit Celebrates Killing of Children as 'Life Sustaining'

You have to wonder just what young people are being taught in a place like the University of Michigan, which is sponsoring an "art" exhibit glamorizing abortion.

The exhibit, titled "4000 Years for Choice" is a propaganda tour de force that features posters detailing the many, frequently disgusting, lengths women throughout the ages have gone to in order to avoid or end pregnancy.

The exhibit was created by Heather Ault, whom the university website calls "a visual artist, pro-choice activist, and independent scholar creating artwork to shift conversations about reproductive rights and justice."

Ault has won a Vision Award from the Abortion Care Network. She also created a related series of note cards featuring phrases such as "Abortion is a gift from God." (Presumably the god in question is Moloch.)

Aside from glamorizing the use of crocodile dung, poison plant juice, diaphragms and toxic vapors to kill or prevent a child, the exhibit celebrates promiscuity, including a poster that says, "Cheer Casanova." The famed womanizer is apparently a role model because he used condoms.

Another role model featured in the exhibit is radical feminist Patricia Maginnis, who in 1959 began encouraging women to get illegal abortions and developed a "do-it-yourself abortion method."

The exhibit will be on display in the women's studies building through May in order to promote "the age-old practices of abortion and contraception as a means to reclaim reproductive freedom as a deeply personal and life-sustaining act existing throughout all of human history," according to the university promo material.

It's always interesting whenever the Left starts talking about the liberating joys of abortion and contraception that ideas like self-control, marriage or adoption never come up.

The notions that "control over your own body" doesn't entail any responsibility for slutty behavior and that the right to privacy somehow supersedes another human's right to live are among the more monstrous inventions by the worst elements of the human race.

I don't know what it says about today's art scene that something like Ault's work is even categorized as "art," but it's pretty clear what it means about the quality of education at the University of Michigan.

If our schools are turning out amoral monsters who can't even consider the life of a child as worthwhile, then maybe it's time to start shutting down some of these institutes of so-called higher learning.
