I am not sure which makes me more upset, what is really said by the Muslim leadership to other Muslims.

Or the fact that all you would do is tell me to go to the Islamic sites and look the questions up for myself. Though at the time I kept wondering why you always added the stipulations that I needed to use Islamic terms and not look things up on sites that were a little more advanced than the “intro-to-Islam” sites.

I really thought I was going to be able to though it all back in your face when you said that I would not believe anything you said about Islam so you were not going to discuss it until I looked up their rulings the Muslim leadership has given on the subjects I was asking about.

But once I got into the more Islamic pages the rulings and everything changed like going from day to night. Or in this case going from something that sounds nice and helpful wonderful to everyone to something that is dark and evil. I cannot believe all the lies and half truths, that the first level intro pages make. And how different the internal rulings and internal leadership opinions are for Muslims.

I am mad, sick, upset, frustrated, and what makes this totally disgusting is that I know my friends will not believe me (and probably not want to be around me anymore) when I tell them what I have found. Cause I was just like them until I actually looked it up for myself.

Arrggg I am so frustrated right now.

I can certainly understand your frustration. While you may feel like it right now you are not alone, there are many many people that have gone though the same thing.

It is not easy to go though the realization that what so many alleged experts and trusted people have told and taught you about a subject is not correct. . . especially when one has blindly accepted the teachings as being true most of their life.

Unfortunately in the world we live in today, finding the truth about much of anything is often very difficult. There is what this person says is true, there is what that person says is true, there is what a few other people say is the truth and then there is what the truth really is. That truth rarely matches what anyone with a bias agenda has to say. Which means it is up to us to search for and find the truth.

There is a very old saying that goes . . .
Simple people believe every word they hear;
Clever people understand the need for proof.
(Paraphrased from New English Bible 1970)

Finding that proof is sometimes very difficult especially when there are so many people saying so many radically different things about the same subject. But if one keeps digging and pushing eventually the truth will be found/revealed.

However if anyone will believe the truth that is a very different matter.

All we can do is help point people where the truth is, in this case the fatawas (Islamic rulings) speaches and sermans of the main stream Muslim leadership. Even though some of those rulings and statements seem like they are coming from hard-core radicals, it IS what is being taught and applied in mainstream Islamic society. Denying that reality does not change the fact that it is true.

I see that you have been posting several of the rulings you found. Thanks so much for doing that. It will help.

But if I might ask a very difficult favor of you, please also share what you find with your friends and ask them to look up the material for themselves.

If anyone will do just a tiny amount of honest research, looking at sites that are mainly “Muslim to Muslim” and also use Islamic terminology, one will find that Islam and the mainstream “moderate” leadership will say everything that needs to be said about what the “religion” is really about.

Welcome to the resistance, I wish you the best of luck sharing the truth about this very real danger with everyone you know.
