From a biblical standpoint, the bible makes several references to spirits/angels/etc. (both good and bad) being on the earth with us. Yet amazingly many religious groups say it is not so or try to make something out of the references that just isn’t true.
Science likes to say that it is all tricks of the mind (and perhaps many of the experiences are).
While I think a lot of the "paranormal" experiences can be explained there are also many that cannot. I also know there is a whole lot more in this universe that we know nothing about than any of us can even begin to imagine.
So while I am sceptical about a lot of paranormal stories (especially the ones that begin with, "we were out drinking and ..."), I think there is a strong possibility that there are good and bad "forces" (for lack of a better word) always trying to interact with us. |
