Can we trust a "Good" Muslim?

I read the posts about al-Taqiyya and Kitman in your Islamic section.

Based on those "rules" of islam, does this mean it is impossible to trust a "Good" Muslim (a Muslim that actually practices the religion not just in name) unless one is also a Muslim?
