Due to a few uncouth users some of which are using bots/programs to constantly create junk/spam accounts as well as post repeated spam messages we are going to be changing the registration procedure.

It is unfortunate that a few inconsiderate people always seem to want to create problems for everyone.

And what is sad some of the post seem to be coming from people that have foolishly paid for a program to post their the spam, with the hope that by posting this junk they are going to make money. The reality is the person buying the program and using it is not the one that is going to make money.

Once we decide how we want to restrict the registration process to make it easy for users but a pain for bots we will post full details.

For now all new users will have to enter one of the annoying manual verification codes as well as be manually approved by an administrator (the manual approval process could take 24-48 hours). In time we will probably go back to a modified email verification process. But for now, to try to get the spammers and bots under control, we are going to lock the registration process down to an obnoxiously painful level (for everyone, even us ).
