I was in a discussion on another site and I got this statement from some person (and I use the term very loosely) that said:

Quote

Based on your accusations and interpretations, you clearly do not understand the quran and you obviously do not realize that you should be an Islamic scholar in order to truly understand and interpret a book as intricate as the quran correctly.

My response was:

But doesn’t the quran itself say that it does not need to be interpreted in anyway other than the verses obvious meaning?

After all the Quran claims to be a “clear book” (5:15),
“easy to understand” (44:58 , 54:22 , 54:32, 54:40),
“explained in detail” (6:114),
“conveyed clearly”, (5:16, 10:15),
and with “no doubt” in it (2:1).

Are you telling me I need to be an Islamic scholar to understand a book which allah and/or mohammad said is clear, easy to understand, and leaves no doubt to its meaning?

= = = = = =

I am still waiting for a response. big laugh

dang GurlRusz your learning to aim the cross-hairs between the eyes and pull the trigger aren't you? rofl

Just remember to be careful not to get careless. with what you say or about letting anyone know who you really are.

Muslims like to say, “We love death more than you love life.”

That has been proven by the thousands of terrorist attacks in recent years.

I once read a statistic average that said Muslims, as a group, are about 36 times more likely to resort to violence for conflict resolution than all the rest of humanity.

The fact is we are in a war. I would be so bold as to say we are in the mist of WW III. For this war which not only involves traditional warfare, but also a war of ideas, a war of who will write and enforce the laws of our various countries, a war for our very basic freedoms and rights. a war which will decide how we will be allowed to live anywhere we are on the planet. and in many cases a war the outcome of which will also decide who gets live and who will be unconditionally executed after the war is over.

Don't get me wrong what you said you needed to say and said correctly. But the same people or others that read the comments at a later date (if they are stored publicly) could be one of the muslims that make up that 36 times more likely to resort to violence statistic. The fact is that some muslims find it easier to silence the person speaking the truth rather than consider the statements being said or acknowledge the truth.

Say what you need to say to "the people" but be careful when doing it especially when online. Cause all it takes to "ruin the rest of your life" is one crazy finding out who and where you are in real life.
